”I love Masha's super-duper Razzle-Dazzle Ruby.
The pictures and words in this first-time picture book glide and sing and zippity-zing on every page! I am already looking forward to her next book.“

FROM THE AUTHOR

I have dreamt of creating my own book for nearly my entire life. As a child growing up in Russia, I was steeped in picture books - they, along with my magnificently talented mother, are what led me to become an artist. Much of my childhood was spent playing in the snow, sharing funny stories, and making things out of found materials (a near necessity in Soviet times). Many years and geo-political zones later, that same improvisational spirit, scrappy imagination, and playful curiosity of my childhood continue to motivate much of my life and work. In this sense, Ruby's story and the very physical form of the book are highly auto-biographical and close to my heart.
I hope that you, especially the child filled with uncombed wonder within you, enjoy this book as much as I enjoyed the process of making it.

Warm wishes,
Masha
